The Aqua Environment flow fuse serves as a safety device that prevents high flow rates in the event high pressure lines break or become disconnected. With a flow fuse, normal flow rates pass unrestricted. When flow substantially exceeds the normal rate an active element in the fuse closes. Rated for 6000 psi (414 bar). Nominal flow rate to shut can be adjusted between 80 SCFM (2265 L/min) at 5000 psi (345 bar) to 55 SCFM (1557 L/min) at 2500 psi (172 bar).
