Analyzers

Nuvair manufactures gas analyzers for diving, medical, public safety, industrial, government, and military use. Our analyzers are accurate, portable, and rugged, have large display screens, and are easy to operate with user-changeable batteries and sensors.

Analyzer configurations include handheld, panel (compressor) mount, remote handheld, remote, alarm, and water-resistant enclosure. Our water- and impact-resistant case is designed for everyday use in the marine environment. All our Pro gas analyzers can be placed in-line with your compressor during gas production or used as a standalone unit for testing of individual tanks, storage cylinders, or environmental spaces. All Nuvair analyzers include a User Manual, are built and tested in-house at our California production facility, and come ready to use upon receipt.

Analyzers can evaluate single or multiple gases including oxygen (O2), nitrogen (N2), carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), helium (He), and volatile organic compounds (VOC). Analyzers can also alarm at high-temperature set points.

For the technical/rebreather diver, we offer several types of multigas analyzers including the Pro Trio, Pro He-O2, and Pro Trimix. For the advanced diver who is looking for a complete gas analysis solution, we manufacture the Pro 4 Warn, which tests for O2, CO, CO2 and moisture (H2O), and the Multigas Color Alarm that analyzes for O2, CO, CO2, He, H2O, and/or VOC levels.

WARNING: Never expose gas sensors to pressure or you may cause damage and/or false readings. Damaged sensors will not provide accurate gas analysis. Most gas analyzers can be used to analyze a regulated gas sample flow, the contents of a gas cylinder, or the flow from a regulator. The flow rate of gas must equal 1-5 L/min. To produce this flow, a Flow Restrictor and Regulator may be required. A faulty Flow Restrictor can lead to a false analyzer reading. Flow Restrictors should be regularly tested with a Flow Meter. Inaccurate gas analysis can lead to serious personal injury or death.

All available gas analyzers are categorized by the gas/multigases analyzed below:

Oxygen

SKU 9450The Nuvair Pro O2 line of oxygen analyzers is preferred by professional and recreational divers using nitrox and other mixed gases. Non-divers will enjoy the easy of operation, accuracy, and stability of the Pro O2. Be sure to check out our most popular oxygen analyzer built for nitrox divers, the compact and robust O2 Quickstick.

Carbon Dioxide

SKU 9616

The Pro CO2 analyzer measures carbon dioxide levels of breathing gas mixtures and air. These high performance, general purpose CO2 sensors provide temperature compensated and linear carbon dioxide measurement over sensing range. The sensor contains a long-life tungsten filament infrared light source, an optical cavity into which gas diffuses. For multigas analysis, check out the Nuvair Pro Trio, Pro Trimix, Pro He-O2 trimix, Pro 4 Warn, and Multigas Color Alarm.

Carbon Monoxide

SKU 9626-LB

Odorless, tasteless and invisible, carbon monoxide (CO) can prove lethal to divers in small quantities. Available for personal use or for integration into a compressor system, Pro CO analyzer options include audible alarms for low pressure, high temperature or CO detection.

Nitrogen

SKU 9614

Our nitrogen (N2) analyzers are portable and easy to operate with user-changeable components. Used extensively in the automotive, food, and military industries. The Pro N2 is available in handheld and panel mount versions.

Helium

SKU 9627

Designed for use with mixed gases, our helium (He) analyzers come as handheld units or for compressor panel mounting. Compatible with heliox or trimix, the Pro He can continuously monitor helium content during gas mixing. Available in a waterproof box mount.

Multigas

SKU 9604-LB

Designed for unique industrial applications and technical/rebreather divers, the Nuvair line of multigas analyzers are mounted in protective waterproof carrying cases. Analyzers are self-calibrating and include audible and visual alarms that sound at user-defined set points.

Moisture

SKU 9607-E

The Nuvair Pro H2O Alarm and 4 Warn analyzers can measure moisture (H2O) levels in stored gas cylinders or monitor H2O in the continuous gas flow from an operating compressor. Includes audible and visual alarms with user-defined set points.

Volatile Organic Compounds

SKU 9651-E

The Nuvair Pro VOC Alarm analyzer is designed to detect the presence of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) in ambient or pressurized sources. It can be connected to a gas compressor for continuous output reading, or it can monitor ambient air (using diffusion mode) and will alert personnel in case of dangerous VOC concentrations in the air. When the alarm sounds, the analog output can activate an optional relay that automatically shuts down compressors, sounds an alarm, or activates a back-up system.

GAS ANALYZER PARTS & ACCESSORIES

Flow Restrictors & Regulators

SKU 9517

Flow restrictors optimize gas flow for accurate sampling with gas analyzers. Exposing analyzer sensors to non-optimum flow/pressure may cause sensor damage. Flow meters provide users a visual indicator of flow rate for accurate pressure delivery to sensitive gas sensors.

Sensors & Batteries

SKU 9510

We stock carbon monoxide (CO) and oxygen (O2) sensors and batteries for all our current and legacy gas analyzers, such as the Pro O2, Pro CO, Pro Trimix, 4 Warn, and O2 Quickstick. We also carry replacement sensors for DE-OX, UBS and OMS analyzers.

Test Gases

SKU P101613

Nuvair stocks a variety of certified gases for testing and calibration of gas analyzers and associated gas handling equipment. Test gases include: carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO), compressed natural gas (CNG), helium (He), nitrogen (N2), and oxygen (O2) in pure and mixed form.

Due to government regulations, shipping of compressed gases requires special handling and extra costs depending on the ship-to address. Please contact the Nuvair sales team for assistance with ordering test gases.
