Nuvair Nitrox Membrane Systems

Nuvair Nitrox Membrane Systems use a semi-permeable membrane to produce oxygen-rich air (also known as nitrox, enriched air nitrox, EAN, or EANx). A portion of the nitrogen in air is separated out, producing a nitrox mixture containing between 24 and 40% oxygen (O2). The nitrox is then delivered to a high pressure (HP) Compressor (to fill scuba cylinders or storage tanks) or to a low pressure (LP) compressor (for pumping to surface-supply divers). Compressors that generated enriched air nitrox are described as “nitrox compressors," but these same compressors can also deliver air. Nuvair manufactures turnkey nitrox membrane systems that can be integrated into existing compressors.
