At Nuvair we custom fabricate breathing air hose and hose ends. We cut the length of our 1/4 5075 psi (350 bar working pressure) oxygen hose to your specification and install hose ends that you select. The cost of installing hose ends is included in the purchase price. The R8-O2 hose is cleaned for oxygen service.
Special precautions must be taken when flowing high-pressure oxygen:
- Maximum recommended hose length for oxgyen service is 6.5 feet (2 m).
- A needle valve must be used to limit the speed of oxygen flow through the hose for lengths over 6 feet (1.8 m).
- Flow rate should never exceed 300 psi/min.
- When brass hose ends are used, maximum working pressure for assembly is 3000 psi (207 bar).
How to Order Your Custom Hose & Installed Hose Ends
- Click the black CUSTOMIZE AND ADD TO CART button above.
- Select the length of your R8-O2 hose. Enter the length (in feet) in the "Qty" (quantity) window. For instance, if you need a 3-foot-long hose, enter "3" in the "Qty" box. Metric conversion: 1 foot = 30.48 cm.
- Select the first hose end in the "Hose End #1" dropdown box. Only one hose end can be selected. You can also choose to have no hose end installed.
- Select the second hose end in the "Hose End #2" dropdown box. Only one hose end can be selected. You can also choose to have no hose end installed.
- Click "Add to Cart" Button. The total price will display in the Shopping Cart.
- If the hose order needs to be edited, click "Edit" (pencil) icon in the Shopping Cart.
- You can order multiple quantities of the same hose length and hose ends or revisit this page to order a new hose length/hose end combination.
